Hello, thanks for stopping by! I am a curious UX/UI Designer who likes to take on challenges and loves helping people achieve their user-centered design goals. My ever-growing toolbox helps connect and understand people include my UX/UI certification of professional education at Georgia Institute of Technology along with five years of Software Quality Assurance which showcased skills including problem-solving, logical reasoning, and empathizing with users.
I heard about UX/UI from a friend and who took this course and loved it. I always wanted to learn how to create a website. I found similarity between UX/UI and QA; and thought if I could combine these two, it would be an excellent experience for the users and products that I work with.
A bit of myself is that I try to learn new things. Outside of work, I love to do outdoor activities like hiking, talking a walk, pickleball (I just got into it), anything that is active and gets me out to enjoy with friends. Originally from Houston, TX; currently based out of Atlanta, GA.
" I have seen Alyshah grow as a UX / UI Designer from the moment he stepped foot in the Georgia Tech UX / UI Bootcamp. Alyshah had a good understanding of some of the principles used in UX Design before class. Still, through the journey of becoming certified, he strengthened those existing skills and learned new ones that will help him in any role as a UX / UI Designer. Alyshah is a dedicated, hardworking team player that will always strive to be the best. I would recommend him to any company looking for a strong UX / UI Designer."
Aly is a unique blend of highly creative, empathetic, naturally curious and a brilliant problem solver. He frequently impressed me with his well defined, validated solutions and determination to produce a great product. He often took the initiative on his own to find answers when he was challenged and could easily balance the heavily technical with elegant design that based on best practices of visual and UX design. He was friendly, humble, a great team player and a joy to work with. He would bring a variety of highly valuable skills to any design team!
